The Department of History at Norman Putsure College organised a captivating quiz competition centered around the theme ‘History of India’ on March 2, 2024. The event aimed to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for India’s rich historical heritage among students.
The quiz saw enthusiastic participation from 36 students, showcasing their knowledge and passion for Indian History. Under the expert guidance of quiz masters, Assistant Professor Nungsangmongla Ozukum and Office Assistant Akhrienuo, the competition unfolded smoothly.
Divided into two groups, the students engaged in a series of challenging rounds that tested their comprehension of various epochs, events, and personalities shaping India’s history. The questions ranged from ancient civilizations to modern-day socio-political movements. providing a comprehensive overview of the nation’s past.
After an intense and closely contested battle of the two groups, Group 1 emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional teamwork, strategic thinking, and a profound grasp of historical facts.
