Norman Putsure College’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a One-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Fostering Academic Excellence, Research, and Professional Ethics” on February 7, 2026.
The programme featured Dr. M. Rajendra Nath Babu, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Nagaland University as the Resource Person, who emphasized the importance of academic and professional growth, research ethics, and plagiarism prevention. He encouraged faculty members to prioritize quality over quantity, collaborate on research projects, and maintain integrity in their work.
The FDP aimed to enhance faculty competencies in line with quality benchmarks in higher education. It provided valuable insights on documentation, research publishing, and academic excellence, benefiting both faculty members and the institution.
The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to academic excellence, ethical research practices, and innovation in teaching. The IQAC thanked the Resource Person and participants for their active involvement.
