The Media Club, as part of its weekly club activity, organised a Photography Workshop on 2nd September, 2026 for its members with the objective of developing their knowledge and practical skills in photography. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Kibu, Proprietor of Blue Table Production, who served as the resource person for the session.
The workshop focused on introducing the participants to the fundamental concepts and techniques of photography. Mr. Kibu shared his professional experience and provided valuable insights into the various aspects of photography, including camera handling, composition, framing, lighting, perspective, and effective use of photographic equipment. He also discussed the importance of observing the surroundings and understanding the subject before capturing an image.
The session was interactive and practical in nature. The members had the opportunity to engage with the resource person, clarify their doubts, and learn through practical demonstrations. Mr. Kibu encouraged the participants to experiment with different angles, compositions, and lighting conditions to develop their own photographic perspective.
