Norman Putsure College offers a US scholarship to one meritorious student every year. A sponsoring family from the US selects the bona fide student, whose educational expenses will be taken care of by the sponsoring family for three years. The aspiring applicants need to fill out the scholarship form and attach photocopies of their HSLC and HSSLC examination mark sheets, along with a write-up.

As the first student to be selected for the Akruzo Putsure Achievement Award, I must say it is quite an honour. As a humble student, reading about this award, I never thought I’d be selected for it. While applying for the scholarship, I only looked around to see the amazing, talented students around me. The procedure required me to submit my marksheet, which included an essay stating why I deserved to be selected for this award. With much anxiety, I wrote the essay with sheer honesty. I’m extremely thankful to God and most grateful to the institution as well as the sponsors.

This scholarship has helped me so much. My parents were over the moon when they heard the news. Without having to worry for me, they could now relax and look over other matters. The award has helped us take much of the financial load off our shoulders. I am absolutely thankful to the sponsors for their generosity. This is a first-of-kind in any college in Nagaland. This is a trendsetter that sets Norman Putsure College apart from other colleges.
