Norman Putsure College, on 27th April 2023, held a one day Workshop on the topic “Design and Entrepreneurship” with Seyie Putsure as the Guest Speaker. She is one of the top 25 designers in Los Angeles and the co-chairwoman of Norman Putsure College.
The speaker while sharing about her experiences delved into what life is like in the field of Interior Designing, the types of work involved, various designs and different career opportunities available in visual arts.
She also talked about the different avenues on how the students can discover their God gifted talents early on, seek opportunities, build connections, take internships and build a portfolio for their future careers while they maintain the value of hardwork, discipline and determination.
The speaker encouraged the students to “Do the best you can in whatever you do, find your passion so that wherever you work, it drives you like a hobby, with excitement and not like a burden and build strong and honest connection with your clients” She further motivated the students not to be apprehensive to face failures and not to listen to naysayers.
Interactive sessions were held with fun activities and quizzes. The students participated enthusiastically and learned about different available opportunities and new perspective for their future, through the workshop.
