ON 22nd October 2022, 26 students along with three teachers’ in-charge went to Sovima campus of Norman Putsure College to grasp the knowledge of flower cultivation. The students were extremely excited for this skill class. We proceeded around 9:40 a.m from the college campus and reached around 10 a.m. After reaching the destination, we went to take a look on how beautiful the flowers were grown and planted. We were provided with ample information on how to plant /grow anthurium flowers. Later on, we were divided into three groups and were given four different types of flower seeds ( anthurium, ceneraria, pansy mixed and marigold) and a flower pot each. All the required materials for planting the flowers were provided and were assigned to grow the flowers for the flower competition to be held on 25th January 2023.
The day of the skill development class ended with delicious lunch. We had a wonderful experience there and we learnt the techniques of growing flowers. This was indeed a day I’ll cherish for a long time.
