Norman Putsure College celebrated its second Freshers’ Fiesta on 19th August 2023 at the college auditorium, with Mr. Situo Sekhose, Director of Youth Resources and Sports, Govt. of Nagaland as the Chief Guest.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Miss. Saneinuo Putsure, Managing Director,NPC where she encouraged the students to discover their talents and to strive and make the most of their time in the college. Dr. K. Timothy Langwangbe, Principal, NPC delivered an inspiring message, where he talked on the concept of ‘human capital’.
The Chief Guest of the event, Mr. Situo Sekhose, in his speech, emphasized on the importance of having ‘a purpose in life’ and stressed on the significance of having a routine in order to push and discipline oneself.
The event was brimmed with various exhilarating performances by the seniors of the college. Special guest performers Miss. Eva Jamir, Miss. Neisemenuo, and Mr. Relie enthralled the audience with their outstanding performances.
Miss. Avino Sale was crowned Miss. Fresher 2023 and Mr. Hipavi Awomi was adjudged Mr. Fresher 2023. The judges of the event were Mr. Hangba E. Chang, Mr. Logan Jeke Tamin and Mr. Vihuzo Kense, who have achieved unparalleled feats in the field of pageantry. The accessories for the event were sponsored by Zahra Accessories.
