The Education Conclave 2026 was held from 18th to 19th September 2026 at J.P. Park and Banquets, Chümoukedima, Nagaland, focusing on implementing NEP 2020 in the North Eastern states. Three-member delegation from Norman Putsure College Dr. K. Timothy Langwangbe ( Principal) , Ms. Avani Ngullie ( Assistant Professor), and Ms. Nungsangmongla Ozukum ( Assistant Professor ) attended the event, which brought together regional policymakers and academic leaders. The inaugural session, chaired by Smti. Sarita Yadav with a keynote by Prof. Jagadish K. Patnaik, featured roadmaps from state ministers, while Chief Host Shri Temjen Imna Along advocated for multidisciplinary education and inter-state unity.

Technical sessions across both days highlighted regional milestones alongside persistent hurdles. While Mizoram was celebrated for achieving a 100% literacy rate, presenters from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura noted severe structural gaps, including faculty shortages, a stark digital divide, and a lack of local industries for mandatory student internships. To counter these challenges, discussions pivoted toward localizing Skill Enhancement Courses and formally integrating Indigenous Knowledge Systems into modern curricula. The event concluded with a cultural evening hosted by Shri P.D. Sona and a valedictory function led by Chief Guest Shri Kishor Barman, who outlined three strategic pillars for future regional growth.
