Norman Putsure College, Chumukedima in collaboration with Imperial IAS Academy organized “A Career Skill Development Workshop” at its campus on 21st of Feb, 2023.
In the program three resource persons were present to enlighten the students of NPC regarding the importance of skill in a student’s life in order to build a career. The first resource person Mr. Saket Saurav, Academic Head of the Imperial IAS Academy emphasized on the need to acquire the required skills and degrees to secure a career of their choices. He talked about the importance of developing CV in order to make the students job oriented. He also demonstrated how interviews are conducted with the participation of student volunteers in a mock group discussion where he focused on how an ideal group discussion should be conducted. He laid stress on the importance of body language, personality traits and leadership quality in an intending candidate in order to get selection in interviews. The second resource person emphasized on the importance of chiseling one’s skill sets and focus on the benefits of harnessing the opportunities coming one’s way.
