The department of sociology, Norman Putsure College, organized an Outreach Programme at El Shaddai Children’s Home, Dimapur, on 19 September 2026. The programme aimed to promote social responsibility, empathy and community engagement among students.
Faculty members and students interacted with the children and spent meaningful time with them. The visit provided students with practical exposure to community life and helped them understand the importance of compassion, inclusion and social service.
The programme was a meaningful learning experience and reinforced the department’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
