Norman Putsure College celebrated the International Women’s Day on 8th March 2024, at 9.00 am, at the college auditorium to appreciate and embrace the existence of women. The Women Cell In-Charge Miss Avani Ngullie, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, gave a pep talk on why the International Women’s Day was celebrated which was followed by speech from Lutalu Rhakho, B.A 4th Semester student, Department of Political Science on the theme – “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. She explained at length on why we should invest in women’s development and how women are an asset to the society citing important women throughout history. She concluded with a poem written by Nikita Gill – “An Ode to Fearless Women”.
