A literary outreach program was organised by the literature club of Norman Putsure college on 2nd October 2023 wherein 32 club members joined the program.
The club brought forward many activities to enlighten the children about the literary world.
The program began with a few worship songs, some of which were suggested by the children.
Thereafter followed by a formal program and then a learning session wherein the children were segregated based on their grade; primary section, elementary section and secondary section
During the learning session, the children were educated on health and hygiene, followed by storytelling, drama on anti- ragging, grammar Quiz and Pronounce it right, after which a fun activity was organised where the children actively participated with much zeal and cooperation.
Then on, a short gifting session wherein all the children received a gift from each of the club members followed by potluck prepared by the members of the literature club. A total of 43 children resided at the orphanage, of the age group 5-16. The proprietor of the orphanage extended his heartfelt gratitude to the college and the club for organizing such an educational cum fun event and gifted the College a certificate of appreciation.
Overall, the literary outreach program was a grand success , with wholesome interactions between the children and the members, encouraging them to further inculcate the values and qualities of kindness, sympathy, of being humble and to acknowledge and appreciate the Little things in life.
